MSD enh. wiring problems.

So I put in the enhancer last week and it ran great. But for some reason the stop circuit didnt work anymore.

There are 2 white wires coming from enhancer CDI and 3 (if I remember...)

It says in the MSD instructions, that if you have 61x electronics you need a jumper to turn a male connector into a female... Well I have 62t stator, and I'm pretty sure I got everything wired up but still no stop switch.


Could I have gotten the white wire from the stop switch mixed with the connector that goes to the white/red wire to the stator, and still have the ski run great?

Ideas?

This is pretty common if I remember right. Switch the whites and problem solved I think.

I went over my wiring with a fine tooth comb.... and according to the MSD wiring diagram it is correct. Though I will say that diagram is complete crap... you can barely read it, all the wires cross over and intersect each other.


Ah well. Guess I'm just gonna have to go over everything with a voltometer.

yea that diagram sux....im wiring mine up now and can barely read it....90% of it is easy as can be....

Pretty common to cross the white wires. Switch em and done I think.
