Does anyone have any spare chips for the msd 4270? I need the rpm limit chip. I have the wires cut and nothing on the end of them. I bought this machine this way and don't know if this is why it wont run correctly. all it does is backfire and sputter. I have tried my timing at 25 to 40 deg and still not correct. Anyone???

Didn't you post about this last week,you seemed to leave this small important piece of info out,no it won't work correctly without a rev limiter chip in it as its designed to work with a chip installed.What rev limit are you looking for I have a 8800 here I am not going to be using.I also have the terminals and the connectors that the chip plugs up to,its all GM weatherpack stuff.
