Other MSD 4259 water injection problem need help

I have a MSD water injection that when I turn the unit on the green led (switch on) doesnt come on and stay on. All it does is the red and the green led flash and then go off. What is going on with this thing. I bought it used and the guy said it worked, but I dont want to put it in if the unit is bad. Any ideas what or thoughts would be great. Thanks.

You have the red and black wires on the plus and minus? It's not hard to hook up. The two black wires go to the solenoid. Someone could have hooked it up wrong and fried it... I use one and have not had any issues.
