650/X-2 Moving Trim Adjustment to Handlebar - Parts / Steps recommendations

Considering moving my trim on my X2 to the left grip (like a WaveRaider / GP). Any suggestions as to parts / steps / gotchas?

I would like to determine if this changes is in, or out, of my plans before starting on the other areas requiring glass work.

Its not the easiest mod because the stock X2 trim pushes for up. Plus there is a lot of force required under power. A 750/900 ZXI trim ring and steer nozzle is the best design there is but needs an extension to clear the X2 hull. If you want to make an X2 the ultimate jumper (or even flippable) simply build a steering platform/deck and graft it onto the hull where its notched for the seat. Its a very "bolt on" type of mod. I moved my steering aft 12" and is still a little nose heavy with my feet at the back of the tray. Now it sails nose up and lands smooth, there is also a lot less spray. I know I need to make it look better but the concept is solid.

Thats pretty slick.

I ride the ski with my daughter (11 years old) . . so I can't afford to loose any seat real estate. You answered my question thou . . . to keep it simple, keep it where it is. Just thought if there was an easy way to adapt, I'd consider it.

Thanks.
