Motor Revs and Goes NOWHERE!

i have a 90 SuperJet (650). The problem is from a drop stop to cruisin speed the motor will barley get moving! it will rev and bounch off the rev limiter but as soon as i turn the handlebars the ski takes off like nothing ever happened! whats going on here!?!? coupler is connected good..

measure the clearence between the wear ring and impeller with a feeler guage. The clearence should be what, .5mm max?

FOUND IT!!!! but dont know what its called... the "seal" i guess where pump is bolted to the hull, with the pump out it was the seal on the very end of the pump(prop side) whats this seal calledso i can go order a new one! it also had a piston ring like thing on it should i replace this to? doesnt looked damaged... the seal was all twisted up over and over again

Had the exact same problem this summer, i just removed and soften up the ring with some grease then it stopped cavitating. when i did a "stoppie" and had full throttle when it hooked ut the pump sucked the seal ring into the pump "!"

BTW its called "PACKING"
