MORE flame arrester carnage ! $ 411

I sucked up my busted FA and scored my cyls . the FA was barely hitting the hull and from the front you could only see a little bit of rubber wearing away from the top of the FA so I was not concerned . I always checked it for tightness , which did me no good . the shiny vertical wear was against the hull side , the huge tear was in the rear of the FA and could not be seen so it continiously sheared against itself '' 210 psi compression viborates a lot '' ,this shearing action broke little alluminum wires from the torn part of the FA and in they went ... and down went compression to 175 psi. ............. $411 later Im back up an runnin an ready to rip .All's well ! Ignore the prop pic .

Shifty

- SuperJet Thursday -
Mine rubs on my fuel lines but I still keep an eye on them. I was thinking about how one of those wires could seperate and jack a motor all up. If I had a TIG (and could use it) I would be trying to make one like the stcocker but out of aluminium. It would connect to Aftermarket carbs with short silicone couplers.

yup, new bore and pistons , this happened while in daytona , most importantly I did not miss a day of shreding while there ! I think Im going to make a new alluminum top plate for My 44's and Install the dual stock intake snorkle '' very soon ''
