the stock 08 impeller is a pretty good impeller.
i actually put one in my 03.

i would go for an aftermarket pipe or mill the head/buy aftermarket head for more compression if you are looking for more bottom end.

those are the most bang for the buck bottom end mods you can do.

I just met some racers that are using the 08/09 superjet. These guys are really good and one of the guys has been winning every race he enters at the national level. They are using worx intake and ride plates.

Is boring the nozzle only for 08/09 superjets or is it something that should be done on pre 08 rn's? What does it do for the ski?

less pump pressure with a bored nozzle which equals a bit more low end.

you do however lose a touch of top speed with this mod. its a give and take and used more as a tuning tool for a prop thats pitched just a bit too high instead of having the prop repitched.

Head mods make a huge difference on a stock ski.................I never would have believed it if I had not ridden the before and after of a stock ski with just a R&D head cnage (35cc pump gas domes) Night and day!

1. pipe + carb jetting + correct cooling line routing
2. nozzle boring + cone
3. rev limiter mod (disconnect)
4. Inatke grate
5. head (a/m or mill OEM)

And you will really fly.
