Hi all. I have just picked up a 2nd hand stock hood which has had all the air intakes glassed up  .
I'm about to fit a blowsion carbon liner and wondered about air intakes. Where is the best place to install some and will 2 x 1 1/2" holes provide enough air.
Thanks

Scott

Oh and where is the best place to fix hood straps at the pole end. On my square nose I had em under the latches but they are wider on a R/N.
Thanks again :Banane01:

The stock ones in the back have also been glassed up. Should I just put them back there or is there somewhere better?

Just make the holes on the back, where the stock ones were. Can't say Ive ever heard of ALLL holes being fiberglassed over, nor do I see logic?!?!

I think the hood was a "project" for someone that they got bored with and sold on to me.
I think they were attempting to move the air intakes to the top of the hood as there are holes drawn on it??? :banghead:

you need to add 2 intake/drains under the rear lip of the hood........ also, open back up the stock ones, do not cut them round, they need to be cut in the same shape as stock......... so water will drain out better...........

Thanks guys. Will open the stock ones back up. With the enalerged ones, do you have a problem with water entering as I thought that was the point of closing the front ones. Or does it hit the blowsion baffle thing and run back out of the enlarged holes.
Thanks

I opened mine stock ones up and moved the bottom down to the linner then drilled a few more over the latch. Also if you take the pivot bracket loose there is a hole under the bracket on each side to put a 1 inch strap. Looke pretty smooth without being bolted to the bracket.

Ignore the cheap spring spacer I was waiting till my new one came in.
