Hi, I was cleaning out my carb intake(had some dried salt in it) and had been reading about modding them(I have a 2002 RN). All I have seen has had it mentioned, but doesn't say what to do. I figure while I have it apart I may as well do it. I noticed there are 3 layers of metal mesh over each carb which restricts the mess out of the flow(I'm assuming that these are flame arrestors/will it hurt to remove 2 of them?), and I am guessing the mod is to remove 2 so it only has one, or do I have to buy something to do it? I'd appreciate any help, I just want to go ahead and do this while its convenient.
