ok so I have a 1990 SN that I've been riding at the lake for a couple years now. I've swapped in a bone stock 62T and have a worx intake grate, besides that everything is bone stock.
We have a couple 2009 SuperJets at the lake and they are a much smoother ride than my SN. I am not constantly fighting waves (lake waves) when I'm riding the '09 compared to my SN.
my question is this: by adding tubbies to my SN, would that bring the smooth riding on-par to the '09? or should I stop modding my SN and just buy a '08+?
if it's possible to make my SN ride like the '09 and not consitally fighting waves when I just want to cruise around, I'd rather do that. I know the bottom hulls are different but I thought the only difference was tubbies and the pump relocated a little further back?
