Make sure all bolts will toque properly check cylinder and head to make sure they are flat if these things are good you will not be having head gasket problems.

i tapped out the two holes, screwed in a helicoil in each one, then put the head back on with the reused gasket, kept the sealant i already had on it up there and put another light bead around the dome area to make sure it sealed it up nicely. i torqued it back down.. fearing that the coils wouldnt hold, but sure enough they did, and very well at that. put the comp tester on and both cylinders held constant at around 175-177. started it up and no exhaust out of the pissers anymore either, so tomarrow im gonna run it on the hose, retorque the bolts just to make sure they didnt back off any and i think it is fixed.. we shall see when i take it back out though.

thanks for the help guys
