is it true that a 95g spring is wound backwards? the thread in the tech faq says so but i have a dull silver spring that is wound the same way as the other springs i have. anyone have a pic of a 95g spring? and also can i use any needle in any seat?

yes 95 g spring are wound backwards and they only have 1 coil that touch eachover at each end

Yes, needles are the same and interchangeable. A worn needle that has been used in a 1.5 seat can be used in a 2.5 for example.
