Midshaft length

So im building my first ski, a revolver v2L and im a little gun shy to press the shaft in since I wrecked a bearing already. I'm curious if it's out of the normal to press the shaft basically to the coupler. Would it be sitting to far on the driveshaft? The midshaft was delivered with the hull so I believe that is correct.

You have to find out the required mm's the shaft should be pressed out the back of the midshaft on a V2L. With the regular V2 it's 65mm. @Bunny hop man

Also, you have to cut midshaft on lathe to allow bearing to press on further. Unless it was done already when delivered with your hull.
