I get all my Milwaukee stuff through CPO tools. They sell reconditioned as well but they are typically every bit as good as new, just cheaper.

For instance, I have the Sub Compact Band Saw listed in the above sale and I paid $138 for the tool, case and battery where HD wants $149 for the bare tool itself.

"We will not have a Memorial Day sale. There will not be a discount code or give away this weekend.

I am going to put this out there for those that have gotten angry at us and don’t understand why I have told them we are not running a sale this weekend.

Most companies do not understand that this weekend is about remembering those we have lost not making money off their absence.

As a Marine, I / we will not disrespect their memory by trying to make money off their sacrifice.
If this bothers you I am positive there are other companies that will take care of you."

I really like his response and meaning behind it.

But just to be a jerk.... Wouldn't he make less money off their sacrifice if he sold something to me for a discount instead of full price? LOL.

I agree, I don’t see the disrespect but I do see the distraction.

Most businesses, like myself, offer a 10% discount to all active and non active military or rescue personnel year round anyways.
