Me and a buddy took a nice cruise up the Carson River yesterday. A lot of fun was had for sure. No cool tricks, just cruising and taking in the sights and smells (cowdungsmellsawesome!) Went through Genoa Lakes Golf Course (which I worked at for 5 yrs) and disturbed some golfers LMAO! The look on their faces was priceless. Cruised past a couple clients houses too. And a little rough water playin around. Currents are weird as he77 to get used to.

It's a very weak sauce vid, but it was such a good time just cruising up the river rubbernecking everything. Just had a great cruise in general. And it was a nice change of pace. Wish we would have dropped fuel and beers at a bridge, so we could have gone further. As it was we only stopped once for a fuel check and the record time on the camera was 86 min. Really wanted to go further, but my buddies SXR slurps the fuel and limited us a tad. Next time we will have more riders and more fun. Good times for sure.

I watched the rest of it. There is a bridge within the video I would love to take photos of some day (have a thing for old bridges). The land always seems really pretty out there via your vids Jay, so always a pleasure to watch (would be even more of a pleasure if you would tilt your camera angle upward a bit).

I love cruizin up rivers on long distance rides. I prefer an SXR for that type of riding and bought one just so I can do that. I've explored the whole lower Colorado river that way. Once Myself and a friend brought an extra 5gal in our tray, rode up river about 15mi, topped off and stashed the gas tanks in the bushes and kept going for another 10mi. According to a map, that trip ended up being about a 50mi roundtrip ride.
