Mcmaster steering cable post??????

I think there is somehting wonky with the TechFAQ. I cannot search the FAQ, and there are missing threads. When I log out there are more threads in the FAQ than when I am logged in.

I thought I was doing something wrong when I searched the FAQ, glad to see I am not crazy.

I think there is something wonky with search period not just FAQ. I tried to search a thread that was only about 12 hrs old & nothing came up. Finally had to search by my user name to find it.

Thought I changed that... anyway it was set to last 100 days.


Search the tech FAQ for pump (pump shoe, blueprinting) = Nada for results.

I was looking for the Nashville/General Jackson thread....never would come up until I searched by my username. I just tried it & couldn't find it. I even let it search from all dates.

Ok, I'll start an index rebuild right now and we'll try again in an hour or so.

The reindex just finished, let's see if it helped...

I searched for pump in the Tech FAQ and got 4 results!

And searching for jackson came up with a ton of results. Rinse, repeat.
