Maxx pump water fittings

What size are the threads on the water fittings? Trying to assemble a Maxx 155 and having trouble finding anything to fit.

I had some 1/4 npt from an old pump that went in a few threads on mine. It's enough but not ideal.

I'm thinking they are 1/4-18 NPS straight pipe thread not tapered. I get the same results, one or two threads with 1/4-18 NPT.

Maybe try running a 1/4" NPT tap through it? I have a 155mm Maxx on one of my boats and 1/4" NPT works on mine.

Yep, always a bit of a delay getting a response due to the time difference. I wrote him at the same time I posted this and haven't heard back yet.

I had the same thought. I picked up a 1/4 NPT tap and was able to open it up enough to get several threads in on my fittings. Not ideal but it should be fine.

I had to tap mine as well to get it to fit.

Also had to grind and tap the driveshaft itself. Maxx still hasn't replaced that a year and half later.
