markham park weekdays

i just got off the phone w/ the general mngr at markham. i brought up the idea of "by appointment only" for riding the jetski lake on weekdays. normally weekday hours are from 4-7. unfortunately, this is when all the shiotty weather comes about during the summer time. i told him that the park would then make money on the jetski lake even on days when theyd normally make nothing due to the weather. he thought it was a good idea and wanted to kick it around a little. he said the only problem that he could see is "staffing". which means finding some teenager that works at the park to sit on the bench and read a book or play on his/her gameboy for a few hours.

any thoughts or additional ideas?

Since the days are longer in the summer maybe they could extend the hours a bit ?


Better yet, throw some lights up and do night sessions.:biggthumpup:
