Man Hits dock "dead"

Another ignorant couch rider killed himself hitting a dock WITH NO LIFE JACKET in the Indian River Lagoon.:banghead: He was about 15miles north of us. :shooter3:

I am realy starting to hate couch riders, it just seems like about 90% of them are complete retards.:shooter3: At least around here anyways, Saturday some fat fug almost ran over the SJ trying to back his couch in the water at Sebastian. Then when we said hay watch out, he got all loud, "WHAT!, I seen it!". :bs2: go figure.

Sorry for the rant, just letting off some steam!

how in the world do you hit a dock hard enough to kill yourself. what can be going through your mind to do that? I mean I have seen people punch holes in couches running into docks but that is just crazy.

I am getting so F*CKING irritated w/ stupid god damn couch riders (if you are not stupid couch rider, I'm not talking about you) I'm not making this a standup vs sitdown thing, this is just the facts!!! I personally think you should have to take an 8hr class and pass a written and dirving test showing your capability to operate the machine before you even sit your ass on the seat. What do we have to do to get people to respect jetskis??? They are not ********ing toys... People treat them as if they were playing a game and dying is no ********ing game...

Education is the only answer here...

I think they should be treated as serious as street bikes around here. Same Crude here this weekend. for the most part ok.. but then a couple Vinnies and joeys came out in the surf and real high tide, they were riding right over the jetty towards the swimmers. At first I was going to let him hit the rocks... then I told them they all need to chill, this is our stomping ground. they stopped... after I backyed almost over one to kind of claim our ground.. then the went outside to the rollers.
Big tricks Usually keep them away !

Many possibilities as to how one kills himself or others running into a dock. What was probably going thru his mind at the time was nothing - obviously these type of people don't think about the consequences of their actions to themselves or others. And if this person was not wearing a life jacket, then he was already flirting with danger. If a person doesn't even have enough sense to wear a life jacket, then he certainly is not going to have the intelligence to operate a watercraft of any shape, form or fashion.

Like was said on another thread about this.....Natual Selection. As sad & harsh as it may sound, that is exactly what it becomes at this point.

My dad saw on the news up in Richmond that two couches were jumping boat wake and ran into each other. He thinks they both got killed but I cannot find an article anywhere online. All I can find up around those parts is something where a couch ran into a bass boat...

You know, as bad as it sounds.....I could list the deaths from Glamis in one season and probably trump all the PWC deaths across the country. I'm not really sure why we, as a sport, get harped on so much.

Come on guys lets show this guy and his family some respect. For all we know this guy's son could be a member of the forums and I would hate for him to have to read something like this about his father after all that he has already been through.

I agree he made some bad decisions, but I wish this guy and his family the best.
