Protytype in process for fitting in new X2 with kart tank. Make it in cones then slice wedges so that a bend is less than 15-degrees at each weld. Get good software like TSR for designing

Stainless is definitely easier to tig weld than aluminum and it retains the heat better.
Read these two books about chamber design and it will give you a good idea about what's involved in creating your own pipe.
