I thought you and sportfish both talked about this in the past. I deal with jigs for aircraft all the time but I think this would be very hard to get something accurate and I have a hard time seeing all the effort worth it unless you plan to mass produce hulls. You'd also have to have 2 separate jigs...one for the pump/driveshaft and another for the engine/midshaft and of course they would have to be aligned perfectly to each other. The other problem I see is that aircraft jigs and stuff like that are made of very thick steel so that they can't be flexed plus they are pinned to known good points or optically aligned. Either way, everything fits so tightly that you can barely move the pins. When you attach your engine, pump, and midshaft, all have slop around the bolt holes which together can make all of your effort moot. Just my thoughts...
