Bonzi Bob is a brother indeed,Just when I think Im about done with this sport some-one steps up and renews my faith

Thank You again Bob for saving me from myself

The cylinder is going to Teamscream on Monday morning

The shop is going to get me 2 sets of wisco piston kits and pay for the sleeves from ADA.

The owner/Machinest was really upset about his mistake and was very cool about it today.

All is well in my world today
My rant is over and my stroker will be on the water by wed Due Bonzi Bob and San Angelo Crew Thanks again

Everyone who owns a big bore or a stroker should have a stock jugged 701 sitting on the shelf for this specific reason.

I work way to damn hard to have technical issues hold me back from having fun on the weekend. If I can afford a big bore or stroker, I can definately sit on a $700 701 setup and lete it collect dust. Within a couple hours you can be back on the pond.

Good to hear you'll be back up and running, and that the guy at the shop nutted up and fixed his error. Yes its a pricey one, for a job that would have paid him less that his mistake.

But this is what seperates him from another shop. If I had another project (maybe not for a standup, but say dirtbike) I'd give him a chance for redemption.

Yep the shop that screwed up mine resleeved it and bored it back to std but I had to cut the sleeves and do all the port matching because it was a radically ported 550 cylinder.it all worked out in the end and thats all that matters.I have a guy now that does them at his house on a boring bar he has been working with for over twenty years now,he basically dosen't screw up ,is super fast and only about ten minutes from me.
