I love this idea. Lewisville does have decent camping spots real close to the cove. I also vote for one more northern ride. Other than Texoma....everything else is a minimum 5 hour trip. I'm in though. Sounds like a killer deal!

But I understand it might be hard, our lakes aren't very catering to jet skiers, beach launching, and camping, lol. Lewisville would be a good place, I might be wrong, but I think they want you out by dark.

It looks like we have a pretty good consinsus for thease 5 rides:

  1. LSFR Port A
  2. Lewisville
  3. Texoma
  4. Lake Travis Mud Cove
  5. LSFR Crystal Beach/Surfside

How dose that sound? I was thinking we should set it up so that we alternate north/south locations in order to spread out the long road trips, I think Texoma is usualy in July though. My preference would be this way if there is no bias to the dates of these other events:

  1. LSFR Port A (Apri)
  2. Lewisville (June)
  3. Lake Travis Mud Cove (July) Central event around 3-4 hours from everyone
  4. Texoma (August) Not sure if this would please the Texoma group, just an idea here
  5. LSFR Crystal Beach/Surfside (October)

Post up a list, explain your reasons for those dates other than weddings and personal events that would keep you out this year. This would be for next year and every year thereafter.
