Lots of work this summer. New motor. 28mm swap to a 44mm SBN and west coast pipe install. When I first ran the ski and was having an issue over heating it would fire right up and take right off. Now I've fixed the cooling issue and when I start it it seems like its running on one plug. It will clean up in a few seconds and then runs great. If I baby the ski it will big down and hesitate and then finnaly take off. The plugs look great. Ski pulls thru mid range and top end. It starts right up and idles fine. Any thoughts?

Play with the jet settings on the Carb. It should have 2 set jets and 2 tune-able jets. I can't remember the exact spec's but you can turn both in all the way and still run the ski, just tune it from there.

So I should be able to turn in the low all the way in. I was wondering if I you do 1/2 turn at a time in?? I shouldn't have to touch the Hi one if my mid and high end is fine??
