Looking for some time in the surf

Coming from Phoenix, where would be my best bet to put in on the west coast? I see to many amazing surf pics/vids here. I need to try it for myself.

Id probably say Oside or Pismo would be the most convenient for your location

i'd say pismo. its more user friendly than o-side since you dont have to ride a mile to the surf and its ok to be on the beach.
