looking for helpful tips

Any ski shop, like blowsion, wamiltons, JSU, R&D may have them. It works like a scupper but it's a rubber flap that lets water out and not in. You won't have to worry about sinking the thing from subbing to much.

ohhh!! got ya like a one way value yea ive seen them i was looking at the versiplug from PWC. same thing as blowsion but cheaper.

They both work and they both have there ups and downs, it's just a matter of opinion. i would start there so you can practice up on subs and the flat water :):):):) without filling up your engine compartment

jrslim claims to have done a flatwater roll on a stock hull. with witnesses. point is he is riding and having fun. footholds or straps, pipe if you can afford it, maybe a head, chop the rideplate is nearly free, start saving for a pole you will eventually break it. anywhere you can shave some fat is good. like railcaps.

I can help you on the front toehold and footholds, should have a lightweight hood pretty soon. someday I will make some poles but I have enough goin on right now.
