FX-1 Looking for FX1 Ride plate

Looking for a new or used FX1 ride plate, intake, and prop. Also looking to pull more bottom end performance out of ski without motor work. An ideas?

Which pump works best. Year and make? And will it affect my top end? And will it just switch out. Will I have to cut or grind into my hull. I really don't want to have to go that route.

any yamaha 144mm pump or Kawi 140mm

both require grinding and fitment

or you can pay $$$$$$$ to have a 144mm modified to bolt in, however that leaves the stock pump shoe....

do a search this has been asked before

I have ran (still l have) a FX1 122mm Pump with a Skat impeller w/kick one a Jet Dynamics Ride Plate and Jet Dynamics intake great. This was the best set up I found for the stock pump. All bolt in. No big drama. Worked pretty darn well for the small pump set up. I still have the complete FX1 pump with the skat installed and the ride plate. I am still using my JD intake on my 144mm set up. As for the 144mm set up. . . once I bought the parts (SJ pump, SJ Cone, extra FX1 drive shaft) sent the pump off to have the ears cut and re-weilded and the FX drive shart installed on a different impeller, I was in the set up right around $1K. Yes the 144mm makes a big difference above and beyond anything you can do with the 122mm pump. But comparing the 122mm set up I describe above to stock 122mm. . it is also a huge improvement.

Also . . after much research and discussion, my conclusion was to focus on improving the pump first, before any engine mods. After the pump . . I decided to do a Factory Pipe and rebuilt / rejetted carb. Completed it this winter. Plan to ride it for the first time this Friday. My research on the engine side all pointed to a pipe for the biggest bang per dollar. I plan to keep the rest of the engine stock.

Good luck with your journey.
