Hello all.
Does anyone know of an engine machine shop in the central California area?
I have a JS550 with a really nice engine I might have killed. I think I need to have it rebuilt. But I don't know where I can take it to have cylinder/pistons matched. Or have the head machined down to run pump gas.
The engine wont run, but its has 220psi compression, Spark, and fresh rebuilt SBN44. It ran with the BN38. But not with the SBN44.
I think I might have killed it because I ran it on 91 pump gas for a season. I ran it pretty rich and don't think I experienced any detonation. But again, it wont run.
I'm kinda at a loss at what to do. And wanted a back up plan in case I eff something up in the tear-down.
