Did you see his(the cracks) before the machinist did that mod? Was it a Jetinetics or?
I'd love to see pics of that.

we didnt take pics, but the crack was fairly large.

its a rad 650/701 f/w.

Thats a great deal too. It looks like the newer style.
Well here are pics of my ol POS flywheel. I guess the cracks are about 1/2 inch long and there are about 12 of them all around the hub area. I'm wondering if this this isnt garbage.. since its the old style...its prolly fuct :banghead:.
The front looks good.. lol

definitely looks fuct. steves only had 1 single crack going from the rear to about halfway to the front. maybe if the slope that the cracks are on were to be machined down to a 90* to the face, itd be better.... or perhaps worse. dont know if id chance that thing. :eek5:

Ya, kind of figured it was a POS, I kinda forgot how bad it looked..
Thanks for the advice though, that is a great idea if it just had one or 2 cracks.
