Yeah so...? he was asking for opinions, if youre gonna put it there then either make sure people can see it or make it blend in so they cant see it till they look for it.

i hear ya. i wasnt poking fun of you. your ski is full of industry logos but still looks killer as its tastefully done..... surprisingly so, actually.

i guess my point is that if a company didnt help you out or sponsor you, just putting thier sticker on your ski because you paid retail for their part is a little senseless...... or maybe i didnt like the wat he laid them out in photoshop.... i dunno.....

LOL no no dude i never implied you was poking fun at me lol.

Just saying that was what i wanted and so i thought id do it big.

So many bits of my ski were hit and miss, like the time i first took the lid off the lambo orange paint tin and though "Oh funk!! what have i done!!!", i remember watching it being painted in the booth and thought id made a massive mistake, it looks disgusting!!

I remember laying up the stickers ($400 worth!!) on the ski thinking these are way too big and are gonna look wrong.

It all turned out better than i was expecting but sometimes you gotta just go for it

I guess this is one of those opinion things that varies quite a bit from person to person. It's very similar to clothing. Why in the hell would I pay $60 for a sweatshirt that has Tommy Hilfiger plastered across the front? I'm not 100% against all logos on clothes, but pretty close. I'm not going to pay to be your advertiser. I guess it's the same thing with ski's for me. I have a few stickers that were already on mine, but for the most part I took all of them off. Right now about the only guy that deserves to ride on mine is Paul and that's because he's gone above and beyond to help me out more than once on some things. I guess it's sort of like tipping a server at a restaurant.

I like it...... nice and clean. I would keep the stickers to a minimun. Where are you putting the registration numbers? I don't think I am going to put any stickers on mine b/c I don't have any sponsors or anything. All the stickers I get from parts I put on the side of my trailer. But then again I've never been a big fan of the face look with all the logos and advertisments on them.

your paintjob looks "littered upon" with all of those stickers that come free with the parts you buy. they do not compliment the ski in the least, IMHO.

you could get real graphics on there that would compliment the ski.

....or you could just slap a bunch of stickers on it and call it a day.

I agree. Dont clutter all those stickers in one spot if your gonna throw'em on. Ive never been a fan of puttinf manufacturer stickers on my stuff unless they look absolutley sweet, or they sponsor me.

get some real graphics that compliment your hard work.

I don't advertise for anyone unless they are giving me stuff! The day after I bought my Honda (car), and my Jeep, I took off all the logos. I like a smooth and clean look. Mabey a couple large stickers/graffix to set it out? Some registration #s well placed and in the right font can really look good as well.
Paint looks good! What color mats?

Dark Grey matts...

not being a jerk but.
lets see...

My enhancer was 50, Umi was free- rebuild kit 25, and 200 for protec mach 1 exhaust.

You should look in to buying used parts... there cheaper!!!

Thanks for your opinion!!!

since im helping you in this thread, i want my name on your ski too. Make it in a large font, preferably something cursive, and you can leave off the 13. Replace me with blowsion, they didnt help you.

I think you should ditch ALL the logos because they arent giving you anything. .

I do have a UMI set up, the other stuff I got used and did not pay that much, I was trying to make a point.

Greay should look good. With that gold color you should put a big crown on your ski. Seriously, crowns are sick! something like this with some color.

What has Cadillac given you? :cool2:

Ditto. The only stickers I have on my ski are either necessary (these are the only ones I have on the paint) or a reminder of a good time had on the ski, and those are relegated to the pole.

When I first saw your paint job I really apreciated what you did with it the two tone the colors and everything. Its something that I would love on my ski, but I really love the clean look. I think of it like in the hot rod world people put a lot of time and work into there paint schemes and the ones that look as good as yours would never put stickers on them, they would leave that to the hardcore racers or nostalgia guys.

That just my opinion.
