there are very few places to stay in CB right now - and it will be that way for quite somw time. We are still waiting to hear from the insurance company.
so - if there is to be a LSFR this March - someone else needs to take the lead on it.
I suggest Surfside or Matagorda

Surfside would be my choice.
However there might be rentable housing on the WEST end of Galveston by Feb-March.

no driving on beaches on the west end of Galveston except for very small designated parking areas.
Surfside would be a much better option.
Whoever wants to take the lead and coordinate for Surfside (if that is what ya'll decide) - I have some catalogs and such from the largest rental company in Surfside.

I scouted in March - found the right area.
for now - It's a matter of contacting the rental company to see how their properties came through the storm.
I'll make a call tomorrow to ask about the area I had looked at before.

san luis pass - not a good area due to the large number of fishermen, lack or parking - and swift/dangerous currents
