My buddy went from riding, to sunk in 5.0 seconds. Luckily a towboat was close by. Latch your hood! Ha ha ha, I thought I would share the pics.

Yeah, he was towed about a half mile, completely submerged. Then threw it on a trailer, pulled plugs, blew out the water, and was back riding in about 15 min. Piece of cake.
I would lay off the fountains then.... or run quad bilge pumps...

It was a great weekend! I am Glad I was close to him and had a tow rope and the guys on the malibu were nice enough to give him a tow.The look on his face while trying to keep his ski afloat was priceless. First thing the boat driver asked was "do you want to jump our wake"? Well hell yeah we do just let us get the water out of the boat first. 15 minutes later we had a great session of jumping wakes and watching a buddy do his first backflip off that sweet boat wake. I can't wait to do it all over again. I am sure he will be checking to make sure the hood is on really good before he goes out for a ride. All in all it was a epic weekend.

Did you happen to look at the design of the SN hood first? It is like they were purposely designed to take in the most water possible. Yamaha's ram-water hood. WTF were they thinking?

been there done that. :Lost my hood off from Mackinaw island trying to work on in it the shipping lanes when a large shuttle craft pulled up to see if I needed help. All I saw was a 6' wall of water coming at me, then all was under water.
