if you are going to go that route your best bet would be find a pos sq and use that for parts, bolts get very expensive and are hard to find

keep the hull you have and buy another SJ... ride the new SJ and work on the hull you have. Reinforce it, footwells, foam, etc ... then this winter change all your parts over to your reinforced hull, and sell you old hull.

yup - do that. it's by far the best way to do it.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Definitely the cheapest way. I started with a square, and got a RN hull to put everything in.
