I've worked for weeks perfecting this. Unwilling to pay the high price that the Maekawa up trim costs. I've designed up my own. I've machined up the prototype and the CNC shop is in progress.
It took me a little while to perfect but now I've finally got it.
The pictures show it installed on my X2. From the neutral position I get full up trim to the point where the nozzle almost touches the hull. This is even with the back chopped 1.75" and the pump set back 2". I could even get a little more if I wanted with a little more hull hacking.
I'm still sourcing a good cable and lever combo for it. Any BMX Left side brake lever will do the trick.
I'm doing a limited production run and am initially giving the option of purchasing the trim unit only without the lever or cable. I figure some some of you might want to find a lever of your own.
The trim units will be ready in a week and about 2 with a lever and cable setup however it will be about $50 more.
The trim lever alone is $250 made from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and stainless hardware. The production unit will look much better than the prototype and not have the gash in the base where the prototype jumped out of the chuck.
Contact me with any questions. You can email me at larmourx2@hotmail.com or PM me. If you want to ensure you get one you can send payment plus $17 shipping to the same email address via paypal or contact me for my address to send a money order.

heard some guys saying they wish there were tubbies to fit the x-2- Well now there are. just started on this tonite. I plan on making two different exhaust outlets as well. One that mounts up front directly off the waterbox and the other in the stock location. They will be extra long and the mount will be angled to fit the tubbie. 140.00 shipped US

So I'm getting ready to fab an exhaust outlet to make room for surfjetlouie sponsons that will point straight in at the waterbox outlet. It will look similiar to the attached image (thanks #.0 for the picture) I will also include a paper template that you can use for drilling the holes.
Looking at pricing this around $25-$30 shipped

Attention all X2 Surf Ride owners!!!!!

Here is the new X2 Tower Strut Brace available now from Jet Ski Haven.
Up to now these were only available from Japan at $420.00 USD now ready to be shipped from JSH for $225.00 it is made of Aluminum pipe and SS hardware...
This will allow you to remove both of the OEM vertical braces. This will then allow more room for dual carb set-ups and eliminate aftermarket exhaust head pipe fitment issues (Factory Race Pipe).

Thanks John - Jet Ski Haven

I have been looking at the japanese style foot holds for the x2's .I priced them and they are wayyyyyyyyy out there,so that being said I am working on making a set. Here is where I am at so far.I am using the pvc foam product from Farco plastics,it is thermoformable so the first step is I cut out the pieces and heat them up to 150 degrees for a few minutes. Then I formed it around my shoe while it was warm and hold it till it cools,it only takes a minute to cool and retain shape. Then I spread it out slightly before it fully cools off.
Here is what I ended up with. I'm all about flatwater anyway and plan to make these easily removable, more on that later, now I know what the jap versions cost they are ridiculous,I was thinking maybe $80.00 a set for a fiberglass-white gelcoated set,$125.00 for a carbon fiber set,let me know if I am in the ballpark or not.
