Limiting rope install?

Where does everyone attach the limiting rope to the pole and ski? Sorry if this has been asked a million times before.....a quick search did not have much:banghead: Does anyone have any pics?

I drilled a hole in the top alum. part of the pole and ran an eye bolt through.
On the bottom I just mounted an eye bolt to the dash. I have extra glass where the bolt goes through as well as a large washer on both sides. Sorry, no pics.

i welded a washer on the nut for my steering stop, hook it to that

I drilled a hole in the stock Square nose pole, used a stainless eye bolt, and a large fender washer.

clipped the other end to to the coated steel cable that goes between where the hood straps mount.

and then tie some surgical tubing from the center to the pole pivot bolt.
that keeps the rope tight and out of your way.

it also makes folks laugh at your set up and call it ghetto.

BUT, they spent more $$$, so laugh back at them.
