'Lil helpers...

Anybody got pics of theirs?

This is my nephew Ben, sounds corny but i love the kid to death, he changed my life.

He's only 2 1/2, so he's a BIG boy, lol.

I just thought it'd be fun to see anyone who has some little guys helping them (or trying to) build and ride their skis. So lets see them!!

And in the third pic, the first time he tried to get down there and help me tighten the back rail on....he smacked his head on my rideplate....hehe, took it like a man though

I don't have pics but my youngest son likes to get on the creeper with a wrench and tighten up all the stuff under his plastic car. :woot:

the other two are very happy to direct me as to just how to tweak their stuff just the way they like ( like they have a clue) but they do it very matter of factly, so its still funny.

I gotta find a pic of my daughter helping me. I got big old hands and have a hard time getting at some stuff. I was having a biotch of a time installing a WW cone on my Kawi.(actually trying to pull the stock cone out once I had the bolts off). She walks over, reaches into the nozzle, and Bingo, two seconds later she's got it out of there :arms:

She is constantly asking me how jet skis work, and how to fix and maintain them. My bilge switch crapped out yesterday(it runs regardless if it is in the on or off position) and she saw me with the hood off disconnecting it. She was all miffed that I didn't ask her for help. So when the new switch gets here, she'll be performing, not assisting with the install.

On the other hand my son's interest in the internal working of a ski are limited to one question "Dad, is there gas in the Blaster?"

my helper is not so little as tall as me and 14, and like most boys now days, as long as it runs he could care less how it works. the other day i told him he had to take the test and get certified so when my wife goes out he can help unload and ride one of the honda's. he the made my day, he said "I don't want to ride the Honda, I want to ride a stand up." :woot::barrel::splatt::brap::arms:So I decided to keep the 750sx i had for sale in the sale section and told him to get certified and that can be his ski.

See my avatar. That's my 2-year old Sam. Whenever I am in the garage, he has to come with me. He ususally grabs a wrench and starts helping.

He can't stand not being in the garage with me. I can't stand not having him.

Matt, I know I mentioned this before, but every time I see that Avatar I smile. It is classic. My 'little guy' turns 16 next month and is bigger than me. Enjoy every moment.

Check my avatar. He found my helmet, and had to wear it around the house. He's always in the garage with me. Says "I wanna help you daddy" or "whats dat daddy". I'll have to post the pics of us putting a motor together.
