Lightweight exhaust hoses?

Since my SJ is completely ripped apart... Has anyone installed any lightweight exhaust pipes in their ski? I'm talking about the rubber hose and aluminum pipe that run from the waterbox to the back of the ski.

Since they didn't feel that light, I decided to weigh them and together they are about 6 lbs. Certainly not a lot of weight but for a simple tube, that seems a bit excessive.

i ran front exhaust only with an x metal box for a period of time and i think it was quieter than front and back x metal systems.

with a stock box and plenty of water it should be fine, but you can get silicone hose but its pretty pricey.

I make dump tubes/exhaust tubes that come in at the less than 1/2 lbs. All the parts iv made us a high temp epox resin.

I put in a thinwall aluminum tube thru my haul for the rear exhaust..... because I had too but i was very surprised at how light it was compared to the OEm...

maybe that would work for you...
