shop

Recently bought a 12 x 16 portable building. Wood frame, aluminum siding. Would have liked to have bought a 12 x 20, but would have crossed the line for code. Works well. Added cable, phone, AC and heat. Have 100 amps of electricity(110/220). Like it a lot. Beats working in the carport or kitchen.

thats a really nice shop charles, clean, very well organised, I tink I have the same AC unit in my shed!

is that like a 10x20 shed building or what?

Thanks! I'm diggin' it. It's 12 x 16. VERY economical also. I believe with 6 ft double door, 8 ft walls, and 5 windows it was around $2800 delivered. It's all completely insulated so it doesn't take much to cool it.

Mine has ZERO insulation, Ill fix that next summer.
I want to build a TINY wood stove in the corner for heating too.
its been my radio shed for a while, it might make a good SKI shed... hmmm

cant weld on a wood floor though.
haha

The AC unit is a 220v heat/AC unit so it should be good to go when it gets cold too.

Smell like horses? I HATE horse barns... Oh what I'd do for a 3 car garage/shop with heat and A/C

My shop is a plywood table ontop of two sawhorses outside underneath some trees, with a go-kart trailer that I stash all the parts I need to cover from the weather. No shop for me, I work outdoors. Might have to move to the basement this winter to keep from the cold.

I forgot!
Here are pics of my shack, it is kinda hurting but it heated in the winter. Its where we do all our wrenching and beer drinking.

Here's where I do my thing. I built a little 30x40 addition onto the front of my 2 stall garage. I should have workbenches, cabinets, and drywall up this winter.
