agreed. i think sometimes our sport corporate leaders don't like us as much as we like the sport. my buddy just bought a used 2004 mini cooper s with all the add ons for around $25K....thats a complete awesome car. that $27k is for just a motor.:bs2:

just my view...im sure a few of you agree somewhere along the sides with me

They think just cos its gots lenzis name on it, then they can justify $27K for a motor!!

As said in previous post id rather let magoos build me a better motor for less money, Jetshed built my motor over here for a damm sight less than that. And to be honest whats really that different other than crank, cyl, etc.

Not completely simple granted, but not $27ks worth of rocket science either!!

Yea, I looked at the cost of that also & had to chuckle. But if he gets it, more power to him...................

Just for comparison sake, I took some of his parts pricing along with how I normally charge to build a similar motor, Everything he stated , along with new Full specs, New B pipe modded for valve clearance, & his carbon chamber, MSD TL , Basicly a drop in motor complete ?
I was a little under 16K. Jeesh, & they say stuff here in the States is expensive!!:bs2:

Where is the other 11K ???? You think little cutties as was posted on the other page are cheap??? I think not!

The parts I listed are what I see in Lenzi's pic. My comparrison is as close to what Lenzi has as I can see. I do know he would use no other carb than a Full Spectrum....... In fact everything Lenzi uses is the very best money can buy. He knows what a quality motor is, no dispute there.

I tried several things with chambers, including SS foil lining them. could not get a good reflection from the Chamber. I didn't like it compared to the Alum ones FPP sells. Oh BTW, someone stated that Lenzi's carbon one looked like dunk............... Here is a pic of the ones Charles was producing for me during the testing............... good old american quality all the way here...........

^^^ that carbon chamber is gorgeous, the lenzi one did look like a bit of old yoghurt pot but for performance id rather a stainless one anyway lol

There was a Red one in My boat for a 100 Hour test of Pancake abuse.
Not one Crack, Held up awesome, looked great when it came out too.
I can say you loose a little power but it is Hardly noticeable. I am going
to say like 80-85% hit off it and regular limited would be like 100% hit
that is still 80-85% better than stock, and all depends what you want
a little power or Purrdy !

I hope I explained that ok !
