do you guys tighten the screws even? or just one at a time?

I do mine as if I was installing a head, alternate side to side starting from the center out. Repeat the pattern 3 times increasing to final torque setting. MattE once asked me why I use a cordless drill instead of doing it by hand? Well i do so I can use the clutch setting on my drill to assist the process, doing the final snug up by hand of course.

wow.... i have used the same seal on my ebox since 2004 and never had a drop of moisture in there

with the position of the ebox i dont even know how you get water up to where the ebox is located

I just replaced my first ebox seal a few months back. The box always had a bit of moisture in it but the cap was loose for the first incident and then I figured out that the seal was crushed right out.

Matt makes a good point to not overtighten the screws. If you see the seal start squishing out the sides then you are already getting too tight.

i litterally bang my ebox together, using a drill to tighten, randomly tightening the bolts in no particluar order.. and stil have NEVER had a drop of water/moisture inside the ebox

making a billet e-box will not solve the problem if you cant assemble a stock ebox, it really isnt rocket science

One way to HELP with a little moisture is throw a desiccant bag in thru the fuse cover, after a few weeks take it out and bake it or throw another one in, Alot of the reasons eboxes leak is because the lip on the plastic cover gets wrecked when guys take there ebox apart and throw it around, Also I would never use a drill to tighten dont be lazy to the ebox by hand

Why do I use a new gasket every time? because it's only about 10 dollars. Besides, if you do it right you won't be replacing this more than once every couple of years anyways.
