Super Jet Lay glass then wet out?

Conrad, my man, what's up. You must be crazy to have hit the water today. It was windy as all hell and cold at our lake. How was it out there? Lose a few toes to frost bite?? Awesome on getting the 750 into tip top shape. If you want to get some glass laying practice, I'm going to install all my glass next weekend.

Yeah man, I'm reinforcing both sides and the hull floor. Doing the floor more just so it looks good, the sides are what need it if I'm going to be practicing rolls this summer, and maybe lake Michigan. Going with opaque white on all surfaces.

Yeah it was pretty cold up at Silver lake too, but as soon as it hit 60 I was out on the water (I admit, mainly on my knees to stay ON the ski, I swear the water was like 30 degrees) Good thing is I used A LOT of underpadding in my tray. Wetsuit and a pair of gym shoes kept me from turning purple today so no worries :p
Damn I'll see if I could make it. Going racing next weekend unless we get rained out again. I'm really wanting to get at least the sides of mine done for this season, after cutting into the sides for bilge fittings and seeing how thin the stuff really is... I think it really needs some more strength. What resin and hardener are you using? How thick are you going to go with it all? Trying to get a shopping list together to at least have my materials ready for when the time comes around. One more random question, have you thought about gutting your hood? :naughty: I've been seeing all these pictures on the topic and I've been thinking about it.

Good luck with your build man! Its going turn out great and you'll be rolling and back-flipping in no time
