I'm trying to get my boat together by the weekend too. Not for the build off mind you.
I'm moving everything from my old hull to a new one. (well... new for me)
A certain pro freestyler has bestowed his old hull to me!!!
While I dont believe I'm worthy of it, I'm very thankful to him.
So now I'm trying to get it together along with wrapping up the ride, and dealing with this riot mess. On top of that, we have a mega busy week at work.
So by friday at the ride I will be a zombie, and will need a stiff drink!

i got alittle more done today........it would be much easier if i didnt have to modify everything to make it fit. you would think if you spend good money on something it should fit toghether................well i have learned my leason.

I am still plugging away on my ski......worked about 9+ hours on it yesterday and into the night. The nose reinforcemnet took a while to dry and I did not want to flip the ski back over untill it was fully cured so I had to leave it overnight. That pushed me behind even further but although progress is slow I am pleased with my efforts so far. Project RiverRat is looking killer. Have a problem with the threads on one of my couplers so I need to have that taken care of at Lanier.....maybe Paul can chases those threads for me. This is looking like it is going to be a wrenching, tunning and turfing weekend but I'm cool with that.

Even if it does not hit the water it will still outperform a freestyle SXR :haha: Sorry DJ......I had to throw out some more smack talk......to keep thing flowing  :Banane01:

did 90% of the turf tonight, i have desided the charlie has a great talent..........turfing, he did steves' ski last year and it was excellent, after f-n' around with the stuff today i figures if i have to do another one i'll just fly him up to atlanta and let him do it.

so i sent impros a prop at the first of the month (they got it on the 3rd), didnt here from them for a week or so and decided to call them. well someone finally answered the phone and had no idea where my prop was even though they knew what they had done to it. so the guy says let me find the paper work and I'll call you right back.............that was 3 days ago. these guys are making it hard for me to assemble this thing.

Well.........I have just a few minor setbacks on my build but it should be all mocked up and turfed but not running :frown: I have a couple of minor issues that will take some time to get the parts for..........not a huge deal as far as assembly but a hold up non the less. So I may be out for the riding aspect of the judging.

T-bone, we are still waiting on a teaser pic  ................so I'll get it going again but posting anouther

i might take pics tonight, i really dont think i'll bring a incomplete ski to the ride. i had a realyy nice idea that this was going to be a riotradio.com boat, that was going to be the only graphic on the boat along with some pin striping, but after this thing with ronny i have been a little down, i really dont know what i waht to do now. so as of right now its just painted black.....how much more black can it be...........the answer......none..none more black. well other than some dark grey turf, which if i had to do over i wouldnt have used.

My midshaft threads are screwed up and Sergio forgot to send me a fuel pick-up for my tank. That normally would not be a big deal but the thing has to be pressed into place b/c there are no attachment points to attach a hose. I am having more mock up work than I expected with some stuff and it is just pulling me down and burning time. I am going to try and find some parts ar HD today and use the pickups out of my old tank for the time being.

Well, back to foaming the ski

Hmmmmmmmmm, if your hull is one that will accept the same assembly as the Round Nose, I have one you can borrow for the weekend..........

I also have a stock fuel pickup if that will help..........
