lame pump carnage

has anyone ever had this happen?

stock 61x pump ( metal nozzle) bored to 85mm.

broke last weekend.

is my tray flexing? or maybe I bolted the pump in with it in a bind?

Looks like impact damage.

Was the bolt loose?

I've never seen that. I have a spare I'd sell for $25 if you're interested.

No impact, ride plate was on the boat all weekend, bolt is still tight.

oh well, its my sons boat now, Ill put a plastic stocker back on there.

Mile, is the one you have metal? and stock or bored?

I did NOT shim anything.

ive been changing pumps back and forth to test different impellers.

would that have caused it to crack?

whats the proper procedure?
