300/440/550 killer x2 project build

hi, ive been watching threads on here and `other` forums about hull mods. on the kwak x2. and have decided to press on and get my own project on the go. influences have been most definately legdrag pete, fletch , crab.... and others, as well as those mad jap x2`s.
im in scotland,uk. and to be honest ive posted on our forum. www.pwcforums.co.uk but there just aint enough people doing rebuilds to get any excitement out of them---- was hoping to post on here and join the old skool party:arms:
short hull, scupper valve, sponsons.... to name a few mods,,,,
i will post pics as son as ive worked out how to........

in theory, they work like an airplane wing. fat at the front and tapers to the rear (and top) to help keep the ski suctioned to the water in turns (and to help keep the nose up). I don't know how a plane would fly with backwards wings. Prolly not tooo gooood.

ill let u know octane

if those bloody sponsons wouldve fitted nearer the hull any other way then they wouldve been fitted differently, i think blowsion made them to fit a superjet , so no difference there then :)

crab................... if it subs, ill be well happy---- :) if it ever reaches water ill be chuffed :)

its been bloody hard work so far,,,,,, i work full time, have a wee boy to keep amused, wife to keep happy and loads of friends/family to help out! im always busy doin something or other------- i work on this hull on wednesday nights for around 4 hours..... thats all. i think im doin allright, since theres no-one even close to doin this stuff in this country i can phone for help/advice.
its coming along nicely, i really havent done anything like this before,, never fibreglassed, filled or chopped at hulls before, so i hope it goes well when i finally get an engine in it and hit the surf .

cant wait to do the things that i really enjoy doin..... modifying things.---- combined lifter and drop nozzle set up.(with slight modification to have either set up) hull extensions , huge rideplate , hood modifying, etc...

slow progress just now.............hoping to get most of the hull re-shaped this wednesday night.ive made a start, expanding foam filled.just need to re-shape some of the extra foam bits i had to fill so there was no cavity`s.
re-shape .....then fibreglass over it all, smoothe it down then sand and the hull`s ready for paint.... wayhey :)

out practicing on sunday on my superjet and pulled a muscle in my back, doh! i just hope i can get back in shape to retake my scottish freestyle title this season :)
