Just so I understand,

You ran the engine after you knew one hole was 35 PSI less, with the other hole close to the limit of pump gas, and you could have destroyed the engine?

Brian

No. I'm running Group K's "pump gas" big bore setup. I assumed it would be fine.

I understand how my wording confused you.

I just found out three days ago about the pressure differential. The first thing I did was tear it down and order a new top end. I wouldn't endanger my entire setup by continuing to run it.

I've been running 93 octane with Benol at 40:1.

Bummer. I haven't seen one detonated like that. We usually snag rings and REALLY do se damage.

Aaron

thats what happened to mine. damn WSM piston ring pin decided to sink into the piston. then ring met exhaust port, rest is history. going wiseco this time, no more WSM junk
