I was thinking of picking up a set, just curious what is involved in the install. Do you have to pull the motor or do they install around the mounts?

No need to pull the motor. Just remove the motor mount to hull bolts. Slide the keepers in place, and reinstall the bolts. Pretty simple and well worth it. I had my motor slide forward quite a bit before I installed my keepers.

They bolt atop your front motor mounts and curve up in front of the motor bed plates to keep the motor from sliding forward. They are shaped like a U such that they are able to straddle the motor mount. check out this pic from Slut's build up. http://www.jetskier79.com/gallery/yamaslut/DCP_0727
