cdkII needs a rebuild bad, would it be better with an sbn44? has a stock 750 with a coufmann pipe.....i do have an extra 44 lying around would just need an intake

I would do the mikuni. You can go even cheaper and get an adapter for your stock mani. Thats what I have and it works great. You bolt it on and then bore it to match the carb. http://www.watcon.com/Catalog_Pages/Intake%20Manifolds.htm

I've had good luck with both, BUT a good sbn44 will make that coffman pipe come alive.

Any ideas on jetting? Again just a stock 750 with a pipe, the sbn I'm Gunna use Is from a 650 yami

With just a stock engine with a coffman pipe, Id start at:

110 to 120 low
150 to 160 high
2.0 n/s
black spring (80 gram)

If you can find a 44sbn off of a 701 or aftermarket one you'll be happier. The circuitry in the 650/44's isn't the same as the others.
