Kawi KFX450r

What do you guys think Of this new quad? I"m wainting to get a bike, or quad, I"m really liking the new kawi. I noticed most of you are bike riders. I'm looking for something fun to trail ride, and try a few tracks with. I'm a newb to off road toys.

that's what I would use for trailriding.

Been there done that get a bike and save your self the cash.
Get a used woods bike like a kdx or ktm 200 and have fun.
4 wheelers are more forgiving but when you screw up they bite hard

It's a pretty bad machine. Kawasaki put some time into this thing. Obviously it hasn't been out terribly long, but anything based on the KX450f motor is going to be sweet! I am toying with the idea of picking one up in the spring...(just toying with the idea).

i have had great luck with mine, just do your scheduled maintenance. oh and i have been running them since 04

Do you like riding your superjet or your rxp? There is your answer. Bike is the only way to go. You'll be going faster and jumping higher than a quad. Get a Honda CRF. Someone on here posted about getting a hell of a deal on CRF in Miami I think.

my stand up of course... I never ride my rxp, just for my friends to ride:headbang:

I figured though a quad would be more fun on trails and in the snow.

bikes are more fun on trails you can go anywhere...get some studded tire. they are loads of fun......

well If I get a bike do you think a 250f would be good for a beginner like me?

the 250f is pleanty for a beginer i like to ride the 250f more than the 450f
the 450f is sick fast

ya the new kawi quad is FI. FI makes things much simpler if you ask me.

my 450 is an 06. the only thing you have to change is the piston....they had a problem with the skirt breaking, not a big deal....

The KFX450 quad is an '08 technically...
