Kawi 650 parts on a 750 engine

So, I blew the engine on my 650SX. I decided there wont be a 650 back into my ski. I'm either going with a 750 engine, or buying a RN or SX-R. Waiting on a test ride to make that decision.

Anyway, in the event that I do decide to drop a 750 in my 650, my preferred method would most likely be a 750 engine from SBT if I could find a core.

So my question is, of my 650 parts, what could be put on a 750 motor? The 650 is complete, with a shot crank and a blown top end. What is useable on a SBT 750? Pipe (have stock and aftermarket), exhaust header, exhaust manifold, mikuni 44, intake manifold, stock electronics, stock flywheel, stock stator, etc etc.

Information on the subject would be helpful int he decision making process~!

Tom said none of it will match, so never mind. If I go with a 750 (which I probably wont because tom is peer pressuring me into a SJ), I'll get all the right stuff.

750 swaps in just fine if its a small pin. You can use the 650 exhaust and electronics, just need to tap the front of the cases for the stator to mount.

Just the pipe? Manifolds and etc wouldn't work? or would they?

650 exaust manifold, headpipe, and chamber works fine, but you will want to port the manifold at the block as its smaller, or find a westcoast. The pic shows westcoast man., FPP headpipe and chamber, but the stock stuff will also work.

But honestly, if your putting it in an SX, just find a 701SJ and you will be much happier. My 98 limited with a drypipe absolutely yanks your arms off. To get the small pin to work great took a fair amount of $, and a lot of tuning. If the 701 fit in there easily, I might have considered a swap in the X2 body.

Will the engine from a Kawi 750 SS drop into an SX/X2? I see stong running 750SS's all the time for cheap. Do the pumps work in the X2 and SX?

The 750 motor will bolt in but you need to figure out which electonics you want to run. If you run the 750 electronics you need to figure out where to mount the Ebox. If you run the stock 650 electronics you need to drill and tap the front of the 750 cases to bolt on the 650 stator.

650 and 750 pumps are not the same.
