300/440/550 Kawi 650 oil injection

My cousin is going to put dual carbs on his 650sx and he wants to keep the stock oil injection if possible. I keep telling him to take it off and save the weight, but he likes to gas and go. He has a westcoast pipe on it and I am wondering if you can adjust the oil injection system to put more oil due to the dual carbs? Any help would be great.

Oil injection

You really need to just talk him out of keeping the oil injection, its an 11 dollar part from dennis kirk and maybe half an hour of work... He won't have to worry about adjustments, it will save wieght, don' have to worry about the oil injection pump failing and siezing the engine to improber lubrication and it takes an extra 2 minutes to put oil in the tank to pre-mix as far as "gassing and going" is concerned.

Yeah I am trying hard. What oil/gas ratio do you run when you block off the plate.

Around 40:1 I have heard of 32:1 and 50:1 but I have an 87 650sx and im running 40:1 seems to be that what most run.
